Show your support for the Sharyland Band with your membership in the Boosters!  Meetings will be announced on this site.  The current project is a BBQ fundraiser.  Your student should have received their tickets last week.  If not, please contact Mrs. Rodriguez, our music secretary at 580-5300ext1105.

Any absence should be reported in writing to Miss Cook.  Email or written notes are acceptable.  Notification does not guarantee an excused absence.  Please refer to your Band Handbook for a list of excused / unexcused absences. 

If you know about the absence ahead of time, please let Miss Cook, the band director in charge of your section, and your section leader know you will be missing.   It helps us plan ahead, and we don't waste time trying to contact you or your parents to find out where you are. 

If it is an emergency, please call Miss Cook's extension at 580-5300 ext. 1246 and leave her a message.  Her voice mail is on 24 hours/7 days a week.  When you return, please bring a written excuse.  Again, refer to your handbook for a list of excused absences.

Please do not rely on other students to notify the directors of your whereabouts.  The information often does not get communicated or is inaccurate.
